Friday.
Summer Picnic for the Phoenix Media Communications Group. At ten am the boat departs from Boston Harbor headed for Thompson Island. I have a half hour to drink all the free drinks I can. I down six Heineken and one screwdriver. When I get on to the Island I have three more Sam Adams. I only remember that I was hot and dared multiple times to jump off the boat. Everything else is foggy until Jenn and I got to Downtown Crossing and went to Filene's where a got a shirt then we proceeded home. Just in time to see my parents just getting ready to leave for the Cape. (Have fun guys, you need it.) Saturday I worked the Bottle Drive for them which was lame and went out to see Moulin Rouge with Jenn, Allison, Alyssa and Becky. It was a decent movie, it was a lot like a Broadway musical on crack, with pop songs in place of original songwriting, but the way it came to together was really good. I would recommend it for a matinee showing but, not a full-price evening show. Afterwards I dropped Alyssa off to pick up Jeremy and the rest of headed to the clubhouse for a few drinks hoping to catch Ryan and Josh (who just flew in from Phoenix, AZ that evening) before we all went to bed. This morning I awoke to do the bottle drive again and drop off said bottles to the recycling guy. Then went to see Tomb Raider which was definitely a waste of time and money. I a least thought the special effects would be good but they blew too. Overall I've had a great weekend, now if only my last week on the job would go easy and I find another I will be all set.

I have passed the A+ Certification Tests. I was so nervous at the tests cause I ended up drinking and going to bed late the night before. Not the wisest desicion I've ever made but it worked none the less. Tonight, I get to celebrate with Jenn and retire to my sistter's abode in the city. It has been a good day.

Sean Gorman is alive and kicking ass on the Internet! METAL!
Looking for a job is one of the hardest things I have ever done. It involves more organization skills, memory recall, and time then any job I have ever had. Needless to say I don't like doing it, but alas here I am just six months after my last job search trying to find work. Why do you ask? I quit on principle they made me a promise and didn't keep it so I quit. Is that wrong of me? Though it is not just about the money; it is about poor micro-management, and antique technology that they don't even want to spring for parts for. There's relatively no growth and I am NOT happy. I feel I need too settle down stay in one job for awhile and feel like I am going to get somewhere. It has been two weeks now and no replies. I fear.

I have been talking about Jenn so much I figure I should post a picture and her email. So anyone who know me can email her suggestion, advice, and warnings. Oh, and people, please be gentle, I am very sensitive.

Well, remember those dates I talked about in my last two posts? Well, it has turned into a full blown relationship! Moreover, I am loving it! Any body who reads this site and knows me, probably knows how cautious I am about entering a realationship. There are always something I can't commit to. She is too bossy, too clingy, too many issuses, something. Now in a matter of two weeks I have made a commitment to a wonderful woman that I believe fits me like a glove. I am very happy. I don't remember when the last time I was this happy. In addition to this lovely news I have quit smoking, finding a better job and shved off my goatee. I am a changed man and am changing for the better.

Last night I didn't return to my humble abode until after 2:30am and I didn't care that I had to wake again in 3.5 hours. I met Jenn after work at Billiards where we talked and shot some pool. We took a walk around Kenmore Square, went to Jillian's for a bit and ended up at Bill's Bar for a show with a coworkers band in it. The first band, Project DH was lousy with a capital L. They had lots of special lights and smoke, they lip-synced, and the other band members just kind of stood there with dumb looks on their faces. Also the band consisted of a vocalist, a guitarist, and a keyboard, no drums or bassist, which I personally thought was odd. The second band, Curbfeeler, was really good. Very energetic, really worked the crowd well. Had an outstanding bass man, whose fingers stole the show by far, even though he looked a lot like Kevin Smith. Buster's band Devour was really good also. Buster's movements and especially his facial expressions when singing were excellent he always fit them to the theme of the music and made them sharp and smooth. The guitarist was damn good. I couldn't really see the bass man or the percussionist. I wish they had worked the crowd better, though. Small bands need to do that to get remembered and build up a fan base besides the people the band members know and beg to go to there shows. Unfortunately due to my long ride home to Plymouth we had to skip the headliner, which I regret but couldn't be helped as the whole show was running late. I walked Jenn to her car and finished the night in style. And went home and fell fast asleep.
